commercial version. Instructions on how to uninstall the beta versions
are posted on the beta portal in the Beta and RC Readme files.
Firewall ports
Autodesk
3ds Max, Autodesk Vault, Autodest Backburner, and various other

Component |
Description |
Blended Box Map
|
Cannot render with ART. |
Cannot render with NVIDIA mental ray. |
|
Cannot display individual object projection in the viewport.
Data Channel Modifier | Adding more than one Velocity operator causes the software to hang. |
File IO |
Exporting with Animation flag set to Off causes incompatibility with previous versions of 3ds Max, Maya and other FBX importers. Always export with the Animation flag set to On. |
Max Creation Graph (MCG) | The RemapFaces operator does not work correctly in some cases. |
Rendering |
To avoid issues with converted elements, save and reopen .max files for scenes processed by the Scene Converter. |
State Sets | Hiding nodes in Compositor View may cause instabilites. |
UI | In Windows 10, the UI may not function correctly if you have a multi-monitor configuration with different scaling factors on each display. It is best to run the same display scaling on all monitors. |
The Welcome screen defaults to the English language. To change the language, manually select the language of choice.
The Ribbon's frame does not resize to its original size after expanding and collapsing.
Frames may not resize correctly. The outermost frame takes space from the innermost frome until the innermost reaches its minimum size, and then any further movement is stopped. To gain additional space, resize the inner frame. |
|
The docked frame state does not save correctly in custom workspaces.
Show Floating Toolbars only shows in the Brush Preset Manager (the other toolbars are not floating by default). |
