As part of Autodesk’s ongoing efforts to provide the best security possible to our customers, we are proactively applying security updates to our products, which also requires an update to your Autodesk products by October 31st. These updates are required to maintain access to certain features.
In addition to this, in a continuing effort to provide high-quality products, this update introduces new fixes or addresses issues relating to the release. This document contains information about the fixes contained in this update.
General
- Reset Auto-Save for every new session to prevent propagating it through job file loading
- Fixed an issue where block parameters were not being duplicated while duplicating an ASM or Advanced 2D group
User Interface
- Fixed an issue where filtering face window geometric entities based on color was not displaying dimensions attached to those geometric entities
Post Processing
- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machines : Yama_Seiki_GTZ_F31i_B, Index_C100_C200_sl, Miyano_BNJ51SY6, Tongtai_T2Y2, GD_SPRINT_32-8
Data Compatibility
- Updated compatibility with PowerMill project files to PowerMill 2019
General
- Added a link to Fusion Production so users can now export setup sheets and job details to their Fusion Production account
- Fixed a problem where the software was crashing if simulation was run without the process table being synchronised first
- Fixed an issue where Optional Job Parameters for setup sheets were not being initialized for a new job
- Added the ability to preview a setup sheet before saving it or exporting it to Fusion Production
- Fixed an issue where the generation of certain setup sheets containing 3d data was crashing the software
Post Processing
- Fixed an issue where the sub-spindle wait distance was not being output for certain processes
Solids Interface
- Fixed an issue where points were being skipped during the verification of certain toolpaths

- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machines : Ganesh_SL42Y2_Mits, Nexturn_SA32e_18itb

- Fixed a crash while verifying drilling cycles
- Fixed a problem with the view being reset while verifying a toolpath in the Solids window with stock motion verification turned on

- Fixed a crash while generating ASM toolpaths
- Fixed a problem retaining drilling cycle modifications after regenerating the process table
- Fixed a problem aligning code in the Multi-Channel Editor after editing it

- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machine : Star_SR20_RIV_TYPE A
General
- Added the ability to open files by dragging and dropping them into PartMaker
- Added the ability to copy paste profile and hole groups between Mill XY and Mill End Index face windows
- Added the ability to copy paste surfacing and profile groups between Mill XY and Mill End Polar face windows
- Added the ability to modify and limit the feed rate for arc moves in a contour milling toolpath
Solids Interface
- Added the ability to visualize stock motion verification for Swiss machining in the solids window
- Added a Solids Verification Options button to the heads-up verification display
General User Interface
- Added a new Angle-Distance snap mode to the CAD interface to model a line at a given angle with a given length with multi-snap capability
- Improved the dynamic preview of CAD geometry and CAM profile creation

- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machines : Tornos GT26B, Nomura NN20 J3 XB TYPE A
General
- Fixed a problem with a false error "Depth of Internal Thread is too big" while verifying certain threading toolpaths
- Added the following parameters for formatting setup sheets : {tool-type} {tool-orientation} {tool-location} {multi-coolant-stndrd} {multi-coolant-tool} {multi-coolant-spindle} {multi-coolant-hp} {multi-coolant-aux}
Simulation
- Fixed a problem running full machine simulation for certain processes using locked gang toolposts
Solids Interface
- Fixed a problem where the solid verification toolbar was available in CAD mode
- Fixed a problem with the turning tool being flipped around while verifying turning toolpaths for a bar fed mill
Machine Tool Compatibility
- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machine : TSUGAMI BO_126-3
Post Processing
- Fixed a problem outputting the Y coordinate for Mill Diam Polar ASM toolpaths
General
- Fixed a problem with software crashing if a setup sheet was generated while solids verification was paused
- Fixed a problem where processes using a tool head were not highlighted in the process table during simulation
Solids Interface
- Fixed a problem rendering Mill Diam Polar and 4 axis simultaneous toolpaths
- Fixed a problem with slow verification of certain turning toolpaths

- Fixed a problem with NC code generated when the time chart was displayed in the process table

- Fixed slow toolpath verification in the Mill Polygon machining function
- Fixed a problem verifying simultaneous 5 axis toolpaths
General User Interface
- Fixed a problem where running "Verify Every Tool Path" did it twice
- Fixed a problem where the simulation window was losing focus after the "Simulation + Process Table" command was run

- Fixed a crash while calculating certain toolpaths when "Autolock Toolpath" was turned on
- Fixed a problem where axial step was ignored for chamfer and spot drill tools when used in a hole cycle
Post Processing
- Fixed a problem with stray characters appearing in the NC code for long tool notes and face notes
- Fixed a problem with the reserved word feed-upr not outputting the correct value for ASM and Advanced 2D milling toolpaths
Machine Tool Compatibility
- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machines : Polygim CSB-III, Tsugami_BE_12V
Analytics
- Added the ability to analyze crash and usage information to help improve software performance and reliability
Process Table
- The process(es) currently being simulated are now highlighted in the process table
- Fixed a problem with calculating total toolpost machining time when one ore more processes using that toolpost are excluded
General User Interface
- Fixed a problem with the selective verification of operations in a group
Machine Tool compatibility
- Added NC code viewing and alignment capability for the following machines : Traub_TNLK_12-7, Citizen_L20E_2M12, Tsugami_BO206-3

- Fixed the 16 process limit for 3D process view setup sheets
- Fixed problem where a 3D setup sheet would not show the final process view for a material control process
General User Interface
- Fixed problem where a Face Window toolpath verification would run twice when verification delay was greater than 0
- Fixed problem with accessing a floating process table window in a saved job file
- Fixed problem with arranging floating windows
Simulation
- Fixed problem simulating a keyway broaching process on a sub spindle
Localization
- Added "Getting Started" for French, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish
- Added "What's New" for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish
