Release Notes: We encourage you to take advantage of the following new features available in this extension, listed below.
- Configure the segmentation, reinforcement, shop drawings and CAM export parameters for the relevant element types used in the project.
- Segment the elements. The divided elements are automatically fitted with connectors, lifters and bushings. This can be done for all elements of the same type at once. (e.g all solid walls, all hollow-core slabs or all solid slabs).
- Reinforce the elements. This can be done automatically per element type. Custom Fabric Sheets can also be defined for reinforcing the elements, using the dedicated command.
- Automatically add other embedded parts in the precast assemblies. This is done for all supported elements and supported embeds Revit categories (e.g. family instances, conduits).
- Better coordinate or link precast model with other disciplines using Revit such as MEP and architecture.
- Automatically create the shop drawings. This can be done based on company standards: for all elements at once, all elements per submittal or per element.
- Make assembly changes and update the shop drawings.
- Automatically create the CAM files. This can be done for all elements at once, in one or more of the available formats: Unitecehnik 5.2, Unitechnik 6.0 and PXML 1.3.
- Export the Revit model to Navisworks Manage and BIM 360 Team for construction coordination, planning and execution.
- Combine with other disciplines and export to Revit LIVE to help communicate the design intent with the client.
NOTE: Segmentation and parameters inside shop drawing are strictly related to the assignation of material to a precast element.
