This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this FY23 release. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you install this product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

New features and improvements:

·         Support publishing project with unstructured scans to Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM360.

·         Support importing new Riegl .rdbx files.

·         Support importing / exporting images from annotations.

·         Allow users to link or unlink a published project.

·         Allow users to force generating cache files for faster RealView navigation and project publishing.

·         Improve user experience in the registration view.

Fixed the following issues:

·         Fixed the issue of registering with unstructured scans.

·         Fixed the issue of suspending and resuming project import, registration and indexing.

·         Fixed the issue of overview map of project with large coordinates in the registration view.

·         Fixed the issue that some project is required to be re-indexed even when the project has been indexed before.

·         Fixed the issue that drag & drop rcs and rcc files into ReCap.exe will re-index the scans.

·         Fixed the issue of missing or wrong elevation map.

·         Fixed the issue that some elevation map is not published to cloud drive.

·         Fixed the issue of importing classification information from ascii file and las file.

·         Fixed the issue that DeCap.exe fails to unify .las/.laz files.

·         Fixed the issue that RealView of some .fls files is distorted.

·         Fixed the issue that some scans disappeared from the view after hiding the scans and then importing new scans.

·         Fixed the issue that NavisWorks model does not show up in RealView at the first load.

·         Fixed the issue of hiding / showing scans in project navigator.

·         Fixed the issue that project name disappears from the top of the screen.

·         Fixed the issue that ReCap may crash during project launch or project loading.

·         Fixed the issue that annotation tool icons are not shown in 3D View after deleting points.

Changes:

·         Cloud credits are being replaced with Flex tokens and tokens can be used for most pay-per-result services.

·         Some changes to limit box behavior:

*         During import, limit box will include all scans (visible + non-visible).

*         Reset limit box will include only visible scans.

·         Some previously free ReCap features will now be included as part of ReCap Pro and will require a subscription. These features include:

*         Point cloud cleanup and optimization.

*         Creating new elevations maps.

*         Creating view states.

*         Export to various file format.

*         Update and reset origin.

Improvements:

·         Support more coordinate systems for Aerial Photo Processing.

·         Migrate photo upload task to upload to S3.
