The GENIO Import and Export Extension 2025 for Autodesk Civil 3D streamlines the migration of data from Bentley® MXROAD® software to Civil 3D software. It also enables customers to use Civil 3D on projects that require Bentley MXROAD format deliverables and/or the use GENIO or binary "model file" format as data sources.

Key Features of this Extension

Import Bentley MXROAD alignments, profiles, surfaces, points and feature strings into Civil 3D
Export Civil 3D model elements including points, alignments, profiles, corridor feature lines, and grading feature lines into the Bentley MXROAD format.

As you prepare to install this extension, keep the following in mind:

Back Up Custom Files

It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this extension.

Administrative Privileges

During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation media or a network image. In order to apply this extension, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products.

Network Deployment

Administrators can deploy this extension over a network using the Deployment Wizard.

Close the Application

It is required that you close Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2025 before proceeding with the installation of this extension.

Reboot

After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

About Your Product

After you install, product information is displayed in the About dialog box.

Follow these instructions to install this extension on a single computer.

1. Download the extension and save it to any folder.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. Find the folder where you saved the extension and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

1. Download this extension and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. Find the shared folder where you saved the extension, and double-click the executable (.exe) file.

This extension can be uninstalled through the Program and Features section of the Microsoft® Windows® Control Panel.

Follow these instructions to uninstall this extension on a single computer.

1. In Windows Control Panel > Program and Features, click on the Autodesk Import and Export Extension for GENIO 2025 and choose the Uninstall option.
2. In the Autodesk Import and Export Extension for GENIO 2025 maintenance dialog box click Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the extension.
