This Hotfix Through a Local Network
The
Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2024.0.2 hotfix is recommended for all
users. It enhances reliability and corrects issues that you may encounter while
using the product.
This
hotfix may be applied to any licensed copy of Autodesk Robot Structural
Analysis Professional 2024 software. It is not recommended to uninstall this
hotfix as may affect some functionalities in the software. See Uninstall notice
for further information.
Please note that this Hotfix 2 can be installed on Robot
structural Analysis 2024 version only.
It cannot be applied when Hotfix 1 is installed.
Uninstall Hotfix 1 before Hotfix 2 installation or reinstall the program to
2024 version. This Hotfix 2 includes all
corrections delivered with Hotfix 1.
Primary Issues Resolved by This Hotfix
As
a result of detailed information from customers, the following were identified
and fixed:
RealDWG Shared is a software component that
provides Autodesk products with access to read and write drawing (DWG) files.
This update contains security and bug fixes that improve the stability of
RealDWG Shared.
Please note that this
Hotfix 2 can be installed on Robot structural Analysis 2024 version only. It can not be applied when Hotfix 1 is installed.
Uninstall Hotfix 1 before Hotfix
2 installation or reinstall the program to 2024 version.
Back Up Custom Files
It is recommended that you back up all your files before you apply
this Hotfix.
Administrative Privileges
To apply this Hotfix, it is required to have administrative
privileges to install and uninstall products.
About Your Product
After you install the Hotfix, updated product information displays
in the About dialog box.
Reboot
After you install this Hotfix, it is recommended to reboot your
system even if not prompted.
Apply This Hotfix to a Standalone
Installation
To download and install
the hotfix on a single computer, either:

Download and install the hotfix using your Autodesk Account.
To install the hotfix from your
Autodesk Account, follow the instructions below.
1.
Make sure Robot
Structural Analysis Professional is not running.
2.
Sign in to your Autodesk
Account.
3.
Click the your Profile
icon, and then click Product Updates.
Note: Only the
most recent updates display. In the top right-hand corner, you can select from
which period the updates will be listed.
4.
Position the cursor on
the hotfix you want to download, and then click Download.
5.
Open the downloaded RobotStructuralAnalysisProfessional2024_HotFix2.exe
file.

Install this hotfix directly from the Autodesk
Access.
Autodesk Access is installed by
default with Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2024.
Update from the Autodesk Access:
1.
Launch
Autodesk Access.
2.
When
the hotfix becomes available, Autodesk Access displays it on a list of
available updates.
Note: In the
top right-hand corner of the Autodesk Access window, you can select from which
period the updates will be displayed.
3.
Click Update to install
the hotfix on your computer.
Follow
these instructions to install this hotfix on multiple computers using your
local network.
1.
Download this hotfix and
save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2.
Find the shared folder
where you saved the hotfix and double-click the EXE file.
You
can also build your deployment using your Autodesk Account at Custom Install
tab.
Windows

1.
From the Start menu
(Windows), click Settings.
2.
Click Apps.
3.
In the Apps window, in
Related Settings in the upper right corner, click Programs and Features.
4.
In the Programs and
Features window, in the left pane, click View Installed Updates.
5.
Find the appropriate
hotfix in the list of updates and click Uninstall.
